Problem: When I try to save forms by clicking on the Submit form button I get the message "you have six hours to save this form."
The real problem here is that your computer is not opening the PDF inside the browser - instead it is opening the PDF on your desktop. This breaks the thread between Cap-Dat ACORD - the Internet - and the PDF. With the Internet connection thread broken, the button on the PDF does not know what Cap-Dat ACORD account to send the data to, so you can not save.
To set your ACROBAT READER to open PDF's in the browser...
1. In Adobe Acrobat, click on the "Edit" menu at the top of the screen.
2. Select "Preferences".
3. Select "Internet" under the "Categories" list.
4. Make sure that the "Display PDF in browser" option is selected in the "Web Browser Options" section.
5. If this option is already selected, reset it by deselecting it, click "OK" to allow it to reconfigure, and then select it again by repeating the above process so that it will reconfigure again.
6. You may need to reboot.
